Sequel to yesterday’s post...

...about Adulting, specifically about the Amazon fiasco. 

So, I tried to apply the gift card to the order for which the charge had been declined by my credit card company, and was unable to do so for one of the items. Only, somehow, they seem to have shipped that item immediately when I started trying to apply the gift card. They treated it as Amazon Prime (I don’t even have Amazon Prime) so the product arrived today, even though I have not actually managed to pay for it. So... I guess that’s a win? Though I assume they will come after me at some point to insist I pay that $9.33. 

Also, the water heater company called me back today (after I left a message) and we set up an appointment for them to come on Monday (sadly, that means missing a dance class). They think that they did attach the flue and that it having come detached may be a sign of a problem with the water heater, even though it appears to be functioning just fine.

Adulting is sooooo tiresome. Yay for the accomplished things :DDD but ughhhhhh for the sucky stuff.

well I really don't think they'll breakup b/c of the tent thing, BUT in the play they do sort of leave things on hold in the end until the guys get their shit together so who knows if translating that to modern times B&B might take a temporary break?

Oh, that’s a great point about how the play ends. Though I feel like it’d be weird to end the show on them taking a break, so I hope that they don’t conclude things that way.

nah - just a big enough fight to end in a sweeping romantic gesture. (a plane ticket to join bea on her travels, perhaps?)

Interesting speculation! I was sort of amused by how impressed Bea seemed to be by Rosa, whereas Meg appeared to be a bit more skeptical. It would certainly make things interesting!

yeah, i don't think they're gonna break up. but bea is angry with him, rightfully so, and their relationship (and ben especially) is going to go through its growing pains, i think. they'll work it out.

Yeah, I’m with you on that. Long-distance relationships are hard, though I suppose Skype definitely makes them easier than they used to be. But to have had many months of long-distance relationship, and then to be physically in the same place and not be able to be together, must be really upsetting and frustrating for both of them, but especially for Bea, who didn’t make that decision herself.

I think it's natural that we all freaked out in one way or other during the hiatus. So much happened, fandom scars were too deep and too fresh, there wer lots of miscommunication and hermetism on Fox's front after they screwed up season 2, I don't blame you (or me or anyone) for having been (or still being) super skeptic. And you're right, remains to be seen if S3 is definitely on the right path. No one saw the s2 debacle coming after S2Ep01, or not to the extent it happened. Fingers crossed!

Yeah I understand why I freaked out (in addition to what you mention I’ve also had some extra RL issues and needed this show to distract me over hiatus and the lack of ... anything didn’t really facilitate that) but I’m still kinda kicking myself for being lead by the nose so much with this show and getting all melodramatic about it. I really have been trying so hard to detach myself from this show though - it’s kind of amazing it still has the ability to pull me back in again. The way I am with shows, this is just ... highly irregular. As are most things about this strange show, really. 

Fingers and toes crossed the season keeps this up, but yeah, I still have 202 in the back of my mind and how that punched me in the gut after the high of 201.
