Another open letter to Mattg 124

@mattgformayor @mattg124 Well, it’s that time again. The internet is a terrible place. I saw your letter regarding the Onision drama that just recently unfolded. I felt really pissed off for you after reading it and then I watched the video where Onision dragged you. After that I watched your original video he took it from and, I just thought that it was just so sad that he’s run out of people to talk shit about on the internet and systematically eliminated any friends he might have on youtube left, that he’d really have to stoop so low as to take your clip out of context and act like you’re a joke when you’re one of the best youtubers I’ve seen out there, and anyone who as actually seen your videos, knows you like to joke around but you’re very intelligent. Onision is incredibly fake and obviously you know that, but to the others who may see this letter let’s just take a moment to emphasize this. You appeared in a couple collab videos together and he acted like everything was fine. Then he turns around and attacks you over whatever lame story he scraped together. This pattern is repeated with a bunch of other youtubers. Not only is he fake but hypocritical. He made a video mocking “emo’s of youtube” but he says you’re not presentable for dressing and acting like a grown adult? That’s incredibly inconsistent. Type in “Emo youtubers” and I’m sure you could easy find an emo youtuber that is still highly popular, but instead he chose to mock who you used to be and try to attack you over some petty problem he had with you that he was too childish to directly confront you about. Somehow, Onision has gained a reputation for being an honest youtuber, because he is blunt and rude but he’s not honest, just a bully. I used to like Onision and watch his videos, admittedly some seemed kinda funny but at what cost? He can’t even come up with enough original content so he creates a channel specifically for bashing other people. Not to mention he has a real narcissist vibe about him and is highly egotistical. I guess he’ll never really run out of content though because if he dislikes anyone he can find something to mock because he doesn’t like other people. Onision likes Onision and seems to only care about himself. Enough of ranting about the obvious, Matt, I have been watching your videos since the beginning and have enjoyed watching you grow as a youtuber and seeing your style develop. One of the things I don’t like about youtube is that there is a certain type of person youtube creates. Youtube is a breeding ground for fame hungry people that will conform and do anything trending on the internet because that’s popular content. While you have a large following, I feel like that’s something you earned and I can’t say that about a lot of youtubers. I really get an impersonal vibe from most youtubers, almost like they’re playing a character or persona of themselves with very little depth. I know that people have been harrassing you forever to make more DareMattg videos and are still doing it even now. You said “no, fuck that. I know it makes the fans happy but I need to take care of myself because this is killing me.” I really respect you for that and it really made me feel like you’re not some youtube clone you’re a real person. I haven’t seen it since it was posted but that 30+ minute long video you made talking about it still resonates with me because there’s a sea of people out there with high expectations and it’s hard to feel like you’re gonna disappoint them but you didn’t. You came up with more ideas that were entertaining to watch It still makes me happy to watch one of your videos and they still make me laugh after 8 years. Another thing I respect about you is that you don’t act like you’re perfect or have a glamorous life. You’re just Matt. Your jokes aren’t racist, sexist homophobic, transphobic, ect either which seems to be a common trend with internet comedians so shout out to you for not doing that bullshit. Matt, you are an incredible youtuber and in general seem like a really cool person. I just want to remind you of that. Onision is an asshat that doesn’t know what he’s talking about. I hope all your fans are giving you the love and support you deserve right now. I love you, Matt! -Alex

PS: TO ANYONE SEEING THIS OTHER THAN MATT, HE’S NEVER MAKING DARE MATTG EVER AGAIN BECAUSE IT MADE HIM FEEL AWFUL. ALSO LEAVE HIM ALONE AND STOP ASKING ABOUT LEDA THAT WAS FOREVER AGO. PLEASE AND THANK YOU
