it wasn’t like beth to feel that way, she never thought she’ll have to face something like that. she was well aware of herself, but the girl had flaws. beth was all about work, all about her own good and not caring about anything else. her true friends knew that when it comes to herself, nothing can stop her. when she first met matthew her eyes light up, but when he told her that he has a daughter beth knew that nothing could happen between them. zero. the other day was something that beth never thought she’ll do, go on a football game with his little girl. after the game beth into panic, thinking about the fact that she might have gotten way into deep with everything and there she goes, pushing it away like she does all the time. trying to make people angry on her so it would be easier for them to walk away but matt didn’t give up.
the first thing she did after she got to work was finally answering matt’s texts, that’s at least she could do. after the last text of matt she knew that she can’t get away from him, she put her phone on the counter of her kitchen, her hands leaning on the counter making beth tossing her head backwards, she let out a sigh. beth knew how to make everybody mad, she managed to do it with matt but the guy was stubborn just like her. she didn’t know what’s gonna happen and that made her nervous more than ever, waiting for a knock on her door to come. @matthewgibson
