can i just say i've read your and bonehandledknife's "the mountains are the same" collection twice over and i love it SO MUCH AAAH will you be continuing it? (also you have a mad max dragons au and i also have a mad max dragons au [though more a crossover with a series with dragons but splitting hairs] anyway we should have a headcanon/worldbuilding jam)

Glad you’re enjoying the series, thanks for letting us know! And as for continuing,  we’ve been posting twice a week and we’re in the middle of the story, so I’m not sure where you got the impression that we’ve stopped here!

My Dragons AU (where the War Rig is a dragon, inspired by Temeraire verse) is kind of sitting still because TMATS is taking up so much of my brain. Maybe there’ll be a point i’ll want to play with it again. If you’re crossing over with Temeraire i would love to read it though!

i'm making my way through all your lovely lovely meta, and i had a thought on angharad going under the wheels - in the beginning of the movie, you see the girl in his hallucinations (and others? i can't recall) being run down by vehicles. is it possible that max, in his current mental state (rising guilt, tension, and panic) that he could be seeing an "overlay" of the hallucination/flashback, and, in the state he's in, genuinely can't tell the difference?

I think that’s definitely one possible explanation. Someone mentioned a similar idea in this post.
