Mary Jo Bassa and Praetorian Jack gave their lives to give Furiosa a chance to go home, but she couldn’t bear to leave them. When she went back for them, she was recaptured and was forced to watch them die, feeling like their sacrifices were made in vain. Is that why she didn’t go back for Angharad, even though it clearly broke her heart? She knew she couldn’t save her and that the best thing to do was use her sacrifice to give herself and the surviving Sisters a chance of freedom. Three people Furiosa loved, three people she lost on her journey home…cannot believe that a movie where Angharad had 0.0001 seconds of screentime made me even more of an Angharad/Furiosa truther.

Y/n was comforting Angharad, who had just woken up from a nightmare. His arms are carefully wrapped around her body, as Angharad holds on tightly to Y/n’s arms. 

Angharad: It was horrible… so horrible. I don’t even know where to begin.

Y/n: You don’t need to. Because it doesn’t matter. 

Angharad: Are you sure?

Y/n: I’m sure. Whatever you dreamed wasn’t real. What is real is you and me. Always. 

Angharad takes a deep inhale, turning her gaze towards her lover. She breathes out, slowly moving forward until her lips come into contact with Y/n’s. 

Y/n is initially taken aback by the kiss, but he eventually feels the softness of Angharad’s kiss. The warmth between his mouth and hers spreads into his heart, as if each second together is strengthening their love. Y/n accepts it, pushing his mouth deeper in contact. After a few more seconds, the two let go. 

Angharad: (Touching the bump on her stomach): I felt a kick earlier. If he finds out it’s not his child, he’ll kill you. 

Y/n: That won’t happen. Furiosa and I will get you and the others out of here. You, me, and our child will spend the rest of our lives at the Green Place.  

Angharad: (smiling with tears) There’s nowhere I would go that doesn’t have you. 

Y/n: The feeling’s mutual, my love.
