(Bad quality my b) Shiro starts dragging Matt while only getting Sam's attention. Idk if this is cause Matt freezes when it comes to Fight/Flight/Freeze or what but if not than this is definitely fuel for the Shatt/Miro/ShiroMatt ship. Idk if it'll be canon but here you go.

Sam Holt Brainwash Headcanon

okay but then finding Matt and Sam in different places and Matt and Shiro having a cute reunion and Pidge and Matt are just laughing and crying and their dad is a l i v e and they’re all so happy. and then Commander Holt slowly starts becoming Shiro. like, he’s taking ‘leadership’ from him, and one day he tells them to do something that will obviously get them captured/killed. and everyone has noticed Sam is a bit weird. a bit hostile. everyone assumed that it was just because of how long he’d been alone, but now he’s telling them to basically give Voltron to the Galra. and Shiro is like, “what? no!” and everyone just sort of goes “Sam why would you say that??” and then he just sort of tells shiro “i’m your senior officer, you have to do what i tell you.” and Pidge is slowly realising. no, this isn’t their dad. and Commander Holt attacks someone, probably Shiro, and Matt is the one who shoots him. (he could die or just be stunned, idk) and just a n g s t and shiro holding matt and telling him that he did the right thing (because shatt, amirite)

i’m also convinced that matt and shiro went to a halloween party one year dressed as otacon and solid snake

ok so shiro/matt is absolutely adorable we all know this, but i firmly believe that they were like the masters of meet uglies like all of their interactions before the eventual “...hey....you wanna go get something to eat?” were just terrible and embarrassing for everyone like

matt loses his glasses and mistakes shiro for a piece of machinery or furniature or something idk but it takes him longer than it should have to realize it was a human being

both are sneaking around after curfew for reasons and the had to work together to try not to get caught (which is really hard because matt is carrying around a bunch of equipment)

matt goes into the rec room for some de-stressing and finds that shiro has beaten his high score on the galaga machine in the corner. he’s a little pissed off (he’s been reigning champion for months!) 

shiro: “WHY ARE THERE TINY ROBOTS CRAWLING AROUND MY DORM AND WHY IS THAT ONE RUNNING OFF WITH ONE OF MY SOCKS?????”

shiro accidentally knocks matt unconscious with a careless frisbee throw

science went VERY VERY WRONG and shiro just happened to be in the right place at the right time/walking by the lab at that moment and oh god please help
