I’m definitely feeling very half today.

It was a cousin’s baby shower (there are hella) and like. A lot of my family was there to support her and everything. But this is on my non-bio side and today that fact felt very present.

It’s so weird because sometimes

Sometimes I hate how much I ID with my DC side of myself because the community can be so trans/homophobic and I just wanna say fuck ‘em and just cut myself off from DC completely.

A lot of people in the DC community are all about “biology” meaning transphobia isn’t quite out of reach for them...
