Flirting

Mal desperately wants to be in the quiet, pretty pink dragon’s favor, seeing as she thought she was the only dragon left in Auradon. To do that, Mal does the only thing her instincts are telling her, which is to be an impressive future mate—aka, hunting and giving up her catch.

Audrey wasn’t going to out herself to Mal who she recognized at once (at least not yet), in hopes she’d take a hint and go home. But now she’s very confused as to why the Queen of Auradon is suddenly flirting and bringing her fish.

I haven’t drawn my dragon girls in a bit! So here they are.

Dragon’s are very familial creatures in nature and like being with their own kind. They move in herds like horses and mate for life. But, since Mal and Audrey are the only two dragons in Auradon, instinct dictates that the stronger of the two (Mal) should start showing herself to be a good future mate by providing food and protection. Audrey’s not necessarily bothered, her instincts like the attention, but the human part of her is very confused since Mal is already married back home (to the boy she stole from her, no less).
