this is incredibly random but i just saw your post about maul being bewildered by human hair and i LOVE it

in my mind he finds curly/coily hair fascinating, especially with how versatile it is and just how it looks. i can definitely see him just wanting to brush or touch it or even learn how to do styles with it

i think initially he’s all “humans are so fragile you need hair all over your body to protect your skin from the elements. zabraks have superior skin” blah blah blah but he doesn’t develop a fascination with hair until he has feelings for you lol

also maul has no frame of reference for human beauty standards, so he doesn’t see the problem with brushing out curly hair lmao

it’s just so attractive to me that maul is such an adept force user. i mean he’s a nightbrother, son of mother talzin herself, and was trained by sidious. id argue he’s in the top 3 of the most knowledgeable force users in the galaxy during his lifetime.

and dude is fucking wicked smart. yes yes he’s manipulative, but he’s good at it. he went from losing his mind on lotho minor for 10 years, to ruler of mandalore, to THEE Crime Daddy of the galaxy. you don’t do that by brute forcing your way through crime syndicates.

he kicked ass despite being significantly injured throughout season one. he’s audacious and persistent. of course he’s the harbinger of his own downfall, but god damn is he nigh unstoppable when focused.

and the cherry on top is that he’s handsome, eloquent, has badass tattoos, a voice like whiskey, and a slutty little helix piercing.
