On the 9th day of Christmas my DM gave to me, a late but still within the 12 Days of Christmas oneshot~! I got to play a concept I've had for a while, a Batle Smith Artificer whose Steel Defender is a teddy bear, because they are guardians of whimsy~

Flaversham H. Toymaker (pronounced "too-ee mak-eur") and General Mäusen Koning. Warlock of Krampus, and Guardian of the Naughty. Some say that Flaversham Toymaker is cursed, his body slowly becoming that of a toy as he continues to work his trade and hone his skills as an artificer. However, if you ask him, he will tell an odd and frankly outlandish story about a cursed crown, deities of joy and merriment and greed and justice, and a deal struck to ensure curses don’t spread to those who are not truly naughty. Each time his body changes, another unjustly on the naughty list is cleared. No one really knows what he means and usually assume his odd stories are fiction or his curse getting to him.
