ATLAS - A UNIVERSE FALLS LYRIC COMIC

Its finally heeeeere! After half a year of hard work, hours upon hours of drawing and drawing and drawing away, my tenth anniversary celebration for Universe Falls is finally here (only two months late lmao). Still, I'm so glad I was able to get it done before the end of the year. I'm honestly so incredibly proud of the work I did with this. I taught myself so much about art along the way of creating this thing, and it really does feel like the ultimate love letter to this silly little fanfic I started over a decade ago now. To those of you who have stuck with me for any amout of time during UF's run, thank you for your support, your comments, your jokes, ideas, thoughts, and so much more. It truely is great to be back working on this fic again and I'm so excited for the future of it now more than ever.

Here's to ten more years of UF to come ♡

Forever obsessed with the Maven line "No, my darling. It's not just "darling", it's "MY darling", and the sentence itself is possessive and isolating. It's intimacy as performance, because at the end of the day, he doesn't actually know her as well as he thinks he does. I painted this Path of Exile fanart as a present for a friend. It was also a big experiment for me, trying out a completely different painting technique. Then I ordered a fine art quality print of it on Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper and it looks gorgeous!

Starting out with a monochrome one layer painting with no outlines (the horror!) and then adding a couple of special effects layers to add colour to the scene. It's a far cry from the work process I'm used to and was a learning opportunity. I'm really proud of the result!
