Maw-rch art challenge: Drednaw! 4h41! Little details I'm proud of here: neck slightly extends for extra snapping turtle-ness, all the little toes, the shell ridges, has a little tongue that can go blehhh!
This is probably the last pokemon I'll be able to make this month which would mean 3 Maw-rch March pokemon 😵💫

#834 Drednaw
Total time: 4h41! One of the most fun effects I've made in a crochet is this Drednaw's extendable neck. That and its jaw! Very cute 🥰🐢

Maw-rch art challenge: Swalot again! 2h19! I made another one because I felt like the details were too off on the first. This one is improved! A few tweaks I'll add later maybe but I'm pretty satisfied with how this turned out. At least the time for this plus the first is only 5 hours which is about normal.

Maw-rch art challenge: Swalot! 2h31! Okay this is like half the effect I wanted to do. Normally I'm really good at juggling a bunch of details the first time around, but my free time is much more limited lately so this one I definitely want to put at the top of my rework list. Oh prototype Swalot my misshapen lad.
Here's my art challenges for the year! My overarching goal is just to crochet a different Pokemon every day, but these monthly challenges will help narrow down my choices.
Jan-New-Ary for Pokemon from Paldea, Fae-bruary for fairy types, Maw-rch for Pokemon with big jaws or teeth, Ape-ril for ape-like Pokemon, Mer-may for water types, Junebug for bug types, Jewel-ly for rock types, Smaugust for dragon types, September for fire types, Ectober for ghost types, Dinovember for fossil and dinosaur-like Pokemon, and Decem-brr for ice types.
