Max’s one wish: For everything to go back the way it was before. Max has been extremely observant of his family’s behaviors over the years, so much so that he can pinpoint exactly where each individual member started going off the rails, which surprises even them. He is completely above the hustle and bustle of the Holidays and the only one who wants everyone else to chill and remember what Christmas is (at least was) all about. He’s also the only one in the family who can seemingly understand Grandma Omi’s German as he actually spent valuable time listening to her. In a desperate Inferior Ne last attempt, Max writes a letter and then shreds it up hoping someone, somewhere will hear his plight. Little does he know, someone did….just not who he expected.

Judging Functional Axis:

Extroverted Feeling (Fe) / Introverted Thinking (Ti)

As mentioned, Max is highly attuned to family dynamics and also heavily distraught that they keep getting worse over the years. But whenever he makes his case, it seems to fall on deaf ears, thus his only resort is to put it on paper because he needs to let it out. But once Krampus comes over for a visit, it really doesn’t take him long to figure out exactly what is happening and so begins his damage control plan. He immediately understands Krampus’ agenda and why he’s the target of it so when all else fails, he figures if he sacrifices himself then the rest of the family may be spared. It’s worth the shot at least.

Hogwarts House: Hufflepuff

House Traits: hard work, patience, loyalty, and fair play.

Max is the only one in the family to show any concern about people. He has a hard time getting along with his extended family, but desperately tries to glue his immediate family back together, so to speak. He listens to everyone, ties to reason with them and will do absolutely anything to prevent them from being the next chalk tally on Krampus’ blackboard.

Enneagram: 1w9 so/sp

Max believes everyone should just get along and family should always stick together, hence his frustration at everyone being so easily distracted by the stress of the Holidays. That’s just temporary, family lasts forever, so addressing the real issues healing is where the focus should be. He knows his family are definitely good, caring people, but that they also need to get their heads out of their butts.
