Honestly Maximum Ride is kinda like tumblr, especially the mobile app.

It’s a hellhole. It sucks. The people in charge keep messing things up. It’s fundamentally broken and just gets worse with each new update.

But we still love it. We still use it. It’s important to us. No matter how angry we get with the people in charge for the shit they pull, we still put up with it.

Why? Who knows? We just do. Because we love it.

Oh god oh god oh god oh god I just remembered something y’all.

I wrote this realllly terrible twilight crossover like a decade ago where the Flock was flying over Washimgton State because Gazzy wanted to go to Seattle and see the space needle, but Fang got really hurt or sick or something and ended up at the Forks hospital and he died but then Carlisle bit him and told the Flock he was dead.

And then Max someone magically got mind reading powers and ran into Edward in the hallway of the hospital and read his mind about Vampires and Fang getting bitten and asked him wtf he was talking about and he was really confused for a second, because how tf could this human read his mind? So then he like.... just told her she was hallucinating from grief and then walked away????

And then a few days later, Max used her new mind reading powers to track them down at the Cullen hose and just showed up and broke the door down and was like ‘WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?! I KNOW Fang is alive and you guys took him, what the hell is happening?

And like, when Fang woke up after his transformation, he actually had fangs for some stupid ass reason, even though that’s not a thing in the twilight universe.

And I’d decided that Max’s bio dad was not actually Jeb, but a member of the Quileute Tribe and she was actually a werewolf and that’s why she thought she was turning into an eraser?

Omggggggg it was so dumb lmaooooo

So once all this lockdown stuff is over, I really wanna get a tattoo.

I want to get something to do with Maximum Ride, because that series was such a huge part of my life as a teen and shaped me as a person so much, and the series means so much to me, but I’m running low on ideas for what to do?

The only thing I can think of is to get ‘I fly with the flock’ or something similar on my side with six bird silhouettes but idk.

Can anyone else in the fandom think of anything? I’d really appreciate any ideas!

Ok so lately I’ve been thinking about Maximum Ride a lot. Like how terrible the casting was in the movie.

If they were to make a new, better movie, I think Isabela Moner would be a pretty good fit for Max.

Like, look at these stills from her role in Transformers: the Last Knight (apparently that was was pretty bad, but that not the point tbh)

This is so much closer to how I imagined Max.

Only issue is that Isabela is five foot one, where Max was described as being five foot... eight or nine or something? But tbh, there’s so much to fix in this hypothetical remake that I feel like height accuracy is kind of unimportant in the grand scheme of things. (Also afaik there are ways to make people look taller in editing)

I’m still trying to think of actors that I think would be good fits for the rest of the characters. (Although I kinda like Stephanie Beatriz for Dr Martinez)

Thoughts? What actors would you guys cast in a Maximum arise movie, if you were in charge of the casting decisions?

You know what would be infinitely better than a book about the Fax kid who never should have existed in the first place?

A book about that bird kid The Flock freed from The Institute in TAE, who was never mentioned again. That would be so much more interesting and appealing.

So I recently downloaded a huge pile of custom content for Sims 4 and I decided to use it to make the Flock. Here’s how I imagine Max would look as a young adult. I always though that Max would be the type to get tattoos and piercings.  There’s a tattoo on her back that says “these voices wont leave me alone”, which I thought was pretty fitting.
