look I know that my fan fictions (when I actually write them...) tend to be pretty short, but I think that's coz I was raised on a steady diet of Maximum Ride books, and those had terrible pacing and two page long chapters, so blame james patterson for that lmao

I was feeling nostalgic the other day and remembered my favorite childhood series, Maximum Ride. Then I discover: there's a movie. And there's two more books after Nevermore. And there's actually a Maximum Ride fandom on tumblr.

So tell me... should I dare read the other books? I crave more Maximum Ride, but is it worth the suffering?

it’s nudges eye! I’ve been doing a lot of eye art with oil pastels recently and I thought I’d experiment with colored pencils. I was also messing around with color palettes for the flock, and I thought huh! dark brown eyes are actually really, really beautiful. so, voilà!

Honestly Total was such a fucking weird part of the Maximum Ride books. Like why was he a thing? The rest of the stuff going on in the books was ridiculous enough, but a talking dog with human level intelligence? Literally WHY?

Like it’s so silly. Why’d jimmy p add this Brian Griffin-ass motherfucker to the books? Who asked for that? And WHY the FUCK did they hold a WEDDING for him and a normal freaking dog??????? What is happening??? What are they smoking????
