@maxbruiser is a huge inspiration and source of enjoyment to me. I would love to be friends with them~ (shoutout to other people who draw their sona with that silly face lol)
Next on the fanart list is @maxbruiser ! This is of their siren shark tank au- it’s super cute. Also YALL should defiantly read their fic on Ao3, absolutely banger.
This one actually had two different stories hidden in it. Haha!
The first is about a symbiote type reader. Having woken upon the impact of their stasis pod against a passing ship, you reluctantly take possession of one of the crewmen who suffered an unfortunate accident while investigating the debris. You have to navigate the ship without getting caught, while somehow blending in long enough to make it back to civilization.
You just want to exist in peace and maaaaaybe help the skeletal captain and his crew make it home alive...
The second is about how a malfunction on the voyager class star ship you were on sends your scientist father into a crazed meltdown. You were told it was fine, just a minor set back. Your father however, goes against protocol and forces you and his most recent artificial ai's into his personal "life sustaining pod", ejecting you off the ship in a collision course with the new planet.
You find out the truth about what your father and the other scientists where doing. Perhaps your helpers, weren't so artificial after all...

This body was proving to be a bit heavier than you anticipated. It strained to move and contorting the way you needed was extremely difficult. Was it because you had waited to long after they died to take over? Or did you not wait long enough? Wasn’t there a window of opportunity with some species that made piloting their dead easier? Something about the earlier the better unless they became stiff, then it was better to wait? Your long stasis was making it hard to remember. It would have been easier if a being of less matter had been the one to pass on.

It had been two weeds since the humans' body had vanished. Foul play had inevitably been suspected, but the lack of evidence had yet to bring any leads. It didn't help that the electical was having difficulties in this area since they were brought in, so none of the security had been able to catch anything.
It was unacceptable by his brother's standards, so inevitably, Rus had been sent to investigate himself. After all, the body couldn't have gotten up and walked away by itself.
