Weird Sonic-Related Story Idea
Imagine there’s a universe where a handful of edgy Sonic OCs rule a dystopian world, and the world’s edge factor is up to, like, a hundred. Some of the most shocking, offensive, and squicky stuff you could think of. One day, a Robotnik/Eggman from another universe contacts the edgy OCs for help with dealing with the other universe’s Sonic. But then it turns out that the other universe is basically just canon Classic Sonic’s universe. And then as absolute chaos is (probably) unleashed, maybe some other details pop up. Maybe Robotnik/Eggman and the edgy OCs turn on each other. Maybe “Classic” Sonic discovers that the edgy OCs have been liquefying Super Crowns and injecting them into people (er, other anthros). Maybe “Classic” Sonic differs from the canon by having a dark backstory that’s only hinted at. Maybe somewhere in the two universes, there’s an island full of unicorns and rainbows. Then, by the end, several of the characters have learned some kind of moral, even though (almost?) nobody in their right mind would want to get their morals from a story with this kind of premise.
