Down to the Last Drop(Closed RP with maximum-avian-ride)

The end of the world as we knew it was somewhat different than expected. A possible tear in the time-space, mass destruction, and the inability to swing a dead cat without hitting a natural disaster times ten didn't help. Humanity couldn't have a chance of surviving here, seeing as the new terrain would be impossible to navigate....aaand the virus that melted you from the inside didn't help either. Fortunately, most had died from self-inflicted death before shaking hands with The End, and they had also created a good number of beings able to survive The End and after. Maximum Ride was one of the survivors. It had been a month after the caves containing the rest of this new breed, consisting mostly of animal-spliced kids, had been unblocked and let them loose. So far it had seemed the human race had died out.....until a large man in a tattered white coat washed up from the sea.

The League as of Now: A Bodycount.

CAPTAIN FLINT APERTURE: Inventor, Dimension Jumper, and a Man of Science, Aperture leads the League with a never-say-die attitude and a pure disbelief in the impossible. His laboratory at the center of the universe RL-11’s Earth serves as home base, and might have withdrawn some information about himself from his comrades….

AFROZILLA “AFRO” APERTURE: A Tyrannosarus Rex from the bowels of pre-history, given sentience, bionics, and(of course) an afro. He lives in at the laboratory, serving as Aperture’s lab assistant and adopted son. He also has the misfortune of occasionally “glitching” into a standard ten-year-old boy at inopertune moments. He proves powerful to foes, and as loyal as a puppy to Aperture….somewhat.

WHEATLEY ????: Originally a personality core meant to subdue the nefarious GLaDOS, Wheatley is an android in the form of a human. Given special cuff links by Aperture, he is able to hack into electronics via his “mind”. He takes great offense at his intellect being insulted, his biggest berserk button being called a “Moron”.

MAXIMUM BACHADLER RIDE: Maximum Ride is a fourteen-year-old with a troubled family life and a snarky attitude. Doesn’t help that she was born with two percent bird DNA, granting her a lighter body, super-strength, and a pair of wings giving her the ability to fly. Usually untrusting of scientists, seeing as she was tested on and lived in a cage for a good majority of her life, she’s convinced that Aperture’s a good man, seeing as he gave her a means to become invisible for a good hour a day as she wishes, and the fact that he’s a double(or is her father a double of him?) of her father, Jeb Bachadler.

PHINEAS FLYNN-FLETCHER: A ten-year-old super genius who wishes only to peruse the best day ever with his brother, Ferb. Currently restricted to home missions due to concerns of safety.

PENELOPE MOUSE: A purple barn mouse and professional thief, she originally worked with the Cooper Gang until being offered to “join” a time-traveling skunk wishing revenge against the gang, Le Paradox. Things went South, leaving Penelope to her own devices….until Aperture offered for her to be the team pilot. She has somewhat of a dual personality disorder, one being on the side of the greater good, and one truly evil. Only problem’s that her evil side’s a darn good actress.

FLINT LOCKWOOD: Inventor of things such as Spray-On Shoes, the Monkey Thought Translator, and most infamously, the F.lint L.ockwood D.iatonic S.uper M.utating D.ynamic F.ood R.eplicator, or FLDSMDFR, he’s rather eccentric. Strange yet understandable, seeing as all of those things had backfired on him or his community….or the entire world. His feet are invournerable, due to said Spray-On Shoes, and physics seem to go easier on him, at the expense of fitting in in other dimensions. As stated before, Aperture has strange, unmentioned ties to Flint, seeing as both share the same name, similar design schemes, and cars.

DR. COCKROACH PhD.: A man of science, he had created a scientific machine in the later 1900’s meant to give humans the nuclear survivability of a common cockroach. Unfortunately, the device had bugs(pun unintended), and turned the doctor into an amalgamation of both a cockroach and a man. Held in captivity by an unnamable government facility for fifty years until being released to combat an alien threat alongside other “Monsters”. Long story short, he is now part of a group meant to combat both threats of Earth and of outer space. He is also rather eccentric, sometimes embracing the mad scientist stereotype with open arms. He has also gained the head, nuclear survivability, climbing skills, invulnerability, and the appetite of a cockroach of his native dimension.
