Of all the things she had expected, being whacked on the arm by the golden filigree of an ornate moving chair was not one she had ever thought to find in this world. Hissing in pain, Sophie clutched at her upper arm and turned over her shoulder to see what had hit her.

What had it been?  Some sort of construct? Perhaps a golem? No matter what it was, it had no business zooming around on its little chair without regard for passers-by such as herself.

For just a moment, barely even that, she considered just going on with her day. But no, rather, that was a stupid idea. Why let it move on then if it were only going to hit someone else like this? “Hey!” she snapped, spinning around on her heel to march purposefully towards the construct. “What do you think you’re doing, hurtling around like that with hardly a thought for others walking around?”

Howl’s an ass (surprise, surprise). But she loves him, since she doesn’t feel the need to put on any pretenses around him, and both of them can just be their horrible selves around each other. There’s no one she’d rather have to face a new world with than him.

Sophie’s really impulsive, particularly when it comes to magic, and rarely thinks the implications of her actions through. That said, she’d probably wish for something stupid in the middle of a tantrum.

There’s a lot of complicated feelings when it comes to Akira - before entering this utopia they didn’t really part on the best of terms. Goro is fond of him, however, and amongst everybody in this city Akira is the one whom he trusts the most.

He’s kinda torn on this because yea, he kinda misses the kids, but he doesn’t really know what’s up with this place yet and he just wants them to be safe?
