Bruce can only stare for a moment that, as if he's trying to place the boy who's clearly mistaken him for someone he's not. He's only ever been with one woman, and Selina sure as hell would have told him if he'd gotten her pregnant, especially, since they'd have both been teenagers at the least by the time this kid was born if he had to guess by how old he looks. He blinks a little, "uh...no?" He tilts his head slightly, "think you got the wrong man, kid."

Atieno does notice that there are other seats on the bus. Plenty of open seats. Perhaps they don't have to sit right next to her if they are going be on the ride.

Might as well give her a little bit of personal space. "Ah, you're right about that. Would be better to give you some room then." It seemed like the very least the entity could do.

As to how they got on the bus given the bus hadn't made a stop - now that was a different question.

"Ah, it was a ways back. Maybe it was easy for you to miss me getting on." They do have a way of not being seen sometimes - perhaps they were just passed over before the bus has set off in the first place.

    🦇—-;; Bruce huffs lightly at her words, he understands the concern, he's had a lot worse than this. Sure, it stings a bit, but he's fine. He can work through it, it's what he normally does. "I think we both know I'm not what anyone would call 'normal'." He never really has been either, but that's another discussion entirely that he's not comfortable with having, they're talking about the pain he's in. And yeah, it hurts, but again, he's not going to be too concerned with it right now. He's not bleeding and nothing's broken, he's just bruised. In his own opinion the only thing that's taken the most damage is his pride.

He pulls at the edge of his cape then and shakes his head. "I'm still in one piece, I'm fine." Anyone else might disagree, but in Bruce wasn't too concerned with that. Knew his body well enough to know he'd be fine.

"Ain't that enough for today?" The question came out almost whiny as Rogue caught her breath. She always enjoyed doing drills with Logan in the Danger Room. He was one of the few she didn't need to pull her punches on. Today, she wasn't sure if she was just off her game or he was simply in rare form, but it was loss after loss for her. "Startin' to think you're enjoying kickin' my ass too much."

"Cause your team is a fuck'n joke Robert, Because some billionaire offered to lend us a hand to show those lazy motherfuckers how its done got some kid patched in to our network so they can pick up on calls". Robert throws his hands up in defeat and Chase returns to his cubicle to leave Robert with the task managing his team... that being said without knowing where this guy was going to be, it wouldn't be very efficient to send off one of his team members only to have the job already in hand. A little firewall bypassing here, a little radio pirating there, and he was tapped into the same feed this guy was receiving the calls from. "This is Robert Robinson of the Torrance branch of SDN, I've been informed your the fire under the ass of my team?".

Dude sat hunched on a bench, stitching up the sleeve of his battered trench coat. His upper arm is wrapped in blood-soaked gauze. No context necessary — anyone with eyes could tell he'd gotten attacked recently.

Guy had watched the kid work before. The fact a kid was able to do stuff like this at a young age was something he didn't approve of. At the same time he didn't know the kid as well as Batman did. Basterd just couldn't stop putting kids into danger. When would he let the kids have a damn childhood?

His green eyes narrowed as he walked up and pushed the training dummy aside and looked down at the kid. His eyes showed disappointment. Not at him but towards Batman. How old was he? Twelve? Younger? He couldn't tell as he sighed." I just don't get why that bastard puts kids in danger. Shouldn't you be. I dunno. Picking fights with boys your age? Going to school?" He asks as he looks at the bostaff the boy held. Defending yourself is one thing. Protecting others like adults should be the last thing on this kid's mind.

"Look I may not know you personally but you gotta have some semblance of normalcy here, Kid. Watch movies. Go do sports." He sighed as he rubbed the back of his head. Look at him trying to be the big Guy Gardner. A grade A father figure when he doesn't even have kids. But why was he like this with them? He couldn't remember. His memories were hazy in a certain point in his life. Nevertheless he had his views and he didn't like this.

"I'll play ball with you since hes busy. Anything normal." He wasn't pleading. He was telling him how it should be. Though something in his head told him that Damian was just as stubborn as he was.
