this is not how the blonde thought her night would go. hanging out with friends is something that should be fun, and it had been right up until the point one of them suggested that maxine go try to buy the group some beer. they know she's just days shy of her twenty first birthday, but they insisted regardless. that's how she's ended up here, locked in the convivence store manager's office with the offending six pack of beer sitting on the man's desk just taunting her. she sniffles, eyes still red from crying earlier. it's not until the door swings open and two officers appear in the door way that she can feel a fresh wave of stinging tears behind her eyes. it just has to be them, deacon and kingston, two of her father's best friend's. they're practically like uncle's to her with how close they are to her father, and that just makes her panic even more. she barely gets a chance to plead her case before she's hauled into the back of their car, the case of beer tossed into the seat next to her before the men are taking up the front two seats and driving away. maxine can feel the tears streaming, and she can't help but cut the tense silence. "please don't tell my parents. i-i didn't even want to buy the beer, but my friends kept pressuring me and i didn't want to make them mad. please i promise i won't do anything like this ever again if you just don't tell my parents." the blonde begs from the backseat, very aware that said 'friends' had ditched her at the first sign of trouble, leaving her in this mess.
