Addition to the 17 theory (UTDR)
I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but I was recently made aware by a GaroShadowscale video that the most amount of money you are able to get before Chapter 5 is $17 dollars.
Breakdown:
You start Deltarune with $2
You can take $5 from Asriel drawer in the beginning of Chapter two
Later, when Undyne gives you a box of chocolate to give to Alphys, you can go to Sans' store to return it for $5
In Chapter 4, before leaving for church, you can go up to your room and take $5 from Asriel's drawer again.
This leaves the player with $17 for the festival in Chapter 5, if they are willing to steal. While I do not know what this entails for the 17 Theory, perhaps an expert like @maxladcomics would have a better idea.
