Here's a little Bday gift for @soulscum as a thanks of sorts for letting me be a part of the Live, Laugh, Bone calendar! So a little birdie told me that Soul like Outertale Soriel and while I had never drawn Soriel, I figured that since Outertale's aesthetic is so pleasing, I could give it a try, so here we are! I'm really happy with the result ngl. I never know how to draw Toriel but I think I managed to draw her pretty cute here! (and as always, Sans is super smoocheable, help I so wanna be in Toriel's place!!!)

Body Headcanon - Bones

I know a lot of people imagine Sanses with different colored ectos and even different characteristics (bigger or smaller breasts, more muscle, more or less chubby, depending on the version), but what about the bones themselves?

I see fandom only differentiating skeletons from Tale universes to Fell's, with Fell's containing more scars and marks than Tale's, or some very thick boned versions of Horror, but what about the others?

Of course, Fell's have more scars, cracks and marks, but they are not unique to them, in fact all Sanses have some marks or scars.

Comic has nicotine marks on his fingers and scars from when Papyrus started learning to use magic (now Paps can be an expert, but at the beginning? We can say that Sans had his share of shooting, being he the one target).

Blue has a lot of marks on her hands from her puzzles and training with Alphys.

Outer has at least one or two legal scars/marks from when it was hit by some space debris.

(He has a really funny case that he loves to tell in Grilbbys, and which Paprus swears it's all fabrication - or at least exaggeration)

Lust has a lot of cracks in his bones. Some are experiences before you know your limits and others are proofs of how dangerous your AU can become.

Ink "fixes" most of the scars acquired from battles, but there are still some on his back and shoulder blades, where it's harder for him to reach.

Error's scars come and go. His "failures" often end up restoring his bones, so most don't last long, with the exception of the large scar that cuts through his rib cage.

Dream has some scars from all its battles, though most of them fade away thanks to its self-healing power. What really stands out about the guardian is that whites are his bones.

At first there was a lot of jokes, talking about his "radiant personality", but later, more precisely when Farm Sans was "discovered", they realized that the "glow" of Dream's bones is due to the time he spent in the sun.

(and since Dream lived almost exclusively in open air and in an unpolluted universe, even when compared to other Sanses who weren't sealed in the metro, he is still the one with the whitest bones).

Due to the sun, he also has very resistant and strong bones.

But do you want to know who doesn't have any scars? The guy with perfect bones, without a mark or scratch?

Reaper!

Come on! The guy is the God of Death, I can't imagine a lot of people wanting to piss him off or fight him. Not to mention the whole "death touch". I think until he met Geno, Reaper had never been physically harmed.

(which leads to a whole new headcanon theme!)
