I will absolutely flirt with some of the more attractive waitstaff. Not so I can ask them out, but primarily so they remember me and can relax whenever I see them. It’s worked so far. Except I’m not sure how I feel about lightly flirting with a bartender (he’s becoming a familiar face), and he tells me that I can come see him in the morning at one restaurant, and then in the evenings at another.

yeah, i actually ended up befriending a queer couple by flirting with them both individually and then seeing them together at one of my jobs. i was just happy to see queers! and i think they felt the same. so we could all feel good/relaxed in the store together. 

but when it turns into “find me at this other place” it’s going into the date zone and you gotta decide what you’re up for!

20, 24

20) do you write in long sit-down sessions or in little spurts?I guess it depends on your definition of little spurt?  I tend to write in 1-2 hour segments, break, then continue.  I might get 8 hours of writing done in a productive day, but it’s absolutely never all in one continuous streak.  I’m never just in the mood to just write for 8 straight hours in a day, but I can always write for at least an hour.  And then after a little break, I might be able to do another.  And another.  Sometimes not.  

24) have you ever become an expert on something you previously knew nothing about, in order to better a scene or a story?Lately, all the time.  Since I started writing historical fiction in the later half of 2017, there was a LOT of research.  Usually it’s not that I know ‘nothing’ because I have to know at least a little bit to know that I want to even include that information and to know that my knowledge is spotty and requires more reading.  But I love learning new stuff, so when left to my own devices, I tend to write stories that require more research.

More power to you! I remember when someone asked me if I'd like to try the wand, and all I could think was "get that fucking thing away from me." The wax on the other hand...oh my god. You'd have thought I was drunk.

I was a little apprehensive at first, but I wanted to give it a try because I knew it’d be something I’d like to use on someone else. And I’m just that type of person, I need to know how it feels for myself first to better understand it. I figured I’d let her give it a shot with the lowest setting and lowest intensity attachment and was hella pleasantly surprised at my reaction. Wax is something I still need to try beyond just splattering it on myself for the test.

4: how do you take your coffee/tea?Tea, not coffee; straight.  No milk, no sugar. 

10: do you sleep on your back, side, or stomach?Back and side.  Most often I wake up on my back though.  With a cat purring on my chest. <333

22: are you a morning person?Yes!  I’m an early morning and an evening/night person but I can’t do afternoons.  Afternoons I’m sluggish and all I want to do is nap.

AHAHAHAH MAX! I couldn’t get to this when I got to Sally’s and I walked in and I’m like UMMM. And she goes “Do you need help?” And I said “I bleached my hair and forgot I’d have get the brassy bits out after because it’s been so long since I did it the last time...” I wore a ballcap today for errands. She said “What color are you?” so I whipped off my cap.

She gave me those exact things.
