Since he has such a strong affinity to the element of lightning he can sometimes sense the approach of thunderstorms

When his future nephew turns out to be a mage like him his older brother asks him to be his teacher which he happily accepts

He enjoys designing and building new and better mage staffs for himself and his mage friends. Every mage in his Inner Circle has a staff that is unique to them and their strengths and weaknesses.

 Maxwell loves to garden and henever he needs to clear his mind or relax he heads out in to Skyhold’s herb garden where he grows various plants both to use in potions and his own enjoyment

Drawing. Maxwell  has been an avid drawer for most of his life since it was once of the things he’s always been free to do and after escaping the Circle he loves to sketch all the people he meets and sights he sees to remember them by.

The man’s entire body just about lights up. You can see how happy and excited by the gleam in his eye and the grin on his face. He’ll also tend to speak a bit faster than normal when really excited.

Sometimes he’ll go spend time with his friends to help cheer himself up but if it’s something serious he tends to withdraw and spend some time alone.

Sometimes he eats salted crackers with chocolate because he likes the mixed taste of salty and sweet. (I’m basically imagining chocolate covered pretzels. XD)

Glossy black with violet iridescent tint when light shines on them.

19. Are they a fan of the warmth or the cold?

Warmth. Maxwell hates the cold, especially after the events of Haven.

21. What’s their favourite way of being kissed? (if they like being kissed)

He loves it when he’s kissed passionately while being held and having his lover gripping his neck or hair.

26. If they were given the chance would they change any physical aspect of themselves? (Hair/tattoos/gender etc)

Maxwell might be interested in some ear piercings but other than that he’s pretty happy with himself the way he is. Though in his Modern AU he accidentally got a lower back tattoo of a nug while out drunk with friends.

Yes, he had to learn how after he got out of the Circle and he’s actually a pretty good cook.
