One hundred and forty four. So today started a little early for a Saturday. I was refereeing a girls volleyball tournament from like 7 until around 2. The refereeing was relatively uneventful; the coaches got mad at me a couple times, and I had one controversial call that some parents got mad at me for, but nothing too intense. Girls volleyball is cutthroat though! Like, the parents and coaches are taking this *developmental* tournament way too seriously. It's not the Olympics guys. My grandma came into town, so we went out to dinner with her. It's super cool that she comes down to visit so often. And just in time for Mother's Day! I went to see "Iron Man 3" with David, Marty, and some of Marty's friends. It was definitely a really good movie, much darker than some of the other superhero movies. But it was a great movie none the less. I watched "The Notebook" because Liza said that it was the greatest movie ever. I had to watch it super late so that all of my family had gone to bed. They'd totally judge me if I cried. And holy heck was that movie a tear jerker. Like, all of the heartbreak and sadness, and then all of the happiness and love and gah! It was just too much for me. Definitely a great movie. But I recommend watching it after the rest of your family has gone to sleep so that they can't see you cry. And so that's all that happened to Jack on May 11, 2013.
