saw a lot of people talking about how they wanted more city council of darkness, so I will humbly recommend the other vampire d20 season: coffin run! here’s some stuff you’ll also find in coffin run if you liked it in ccod:

zac oyama! again playing a vampire of low intelligence who kind of figures it out by the end? eventually? squing is kind of like if zaeth was an ugly nosferatu with a baby head
eleventh hour canon gay romance with an npc
anticolonialist messages kinda
cool lighting effects when the elder vampire npc talks
other reasons to watch coffin run:
jasmine bhullar! such a good dm. there’s a reason she got brought back for d20 on a bus, she absolutely earned her place among legendary DMs
battle sets! Well-designed fights on an all black and white sets which is a fun style choice. the final battle is iconic
props! everyone at the table has so much fun with them. also comes into play for the final battle in a delicious way.
izzy roland playing a mad scientist who hasn’t been outside in nearly a decade. he’s not a vampire he’s just Like That.
generally such a fun vibe and SUCH an incredible cast, Carlos Luna and Erika Ishii are also amazing here (Erika’s tribute to Anna May Wong is great and May is a great character in her own right; Carlos brings a lot of humor to his character but also a lot of depth)
