Hey! I saw your predictions for asfos from before we knew much about it and I wondered with the newer information we have do you still think one of the main group (and adjacent) is in danger? The fact it’s set around so many big events in WWII scares me! And Bertie (and Harold!) - poor Bertie - although I can’t see Robin actually hurting them after she said she thinks they’ll last…but like…aghhh - sorry for the rambling here 😂

Hi anon! Dw about rambling! Had to dig up what I actually said about ASFOS previously so that's here if anyone wanted to read that to begin with.

What we know is happening:

- Set in December 1941

- May and Nuala are at Bletchley with Hazel (how does Eric join them I wonder?)

- Bertie is being blamed for a codebreaker being shot (also: why is Bertie at Bletchley?)

- said codebreaker had a secret message in his pocket

- another member of the Detective Society is turning up! It's not Lavinia (it could be Beanie, but if I was placing a bet a lot of my money would be on Kitty! Robin Stevens mentioned once she's a teacher at Deepdean now, and that we're going to see her I think???)

Vague Robin Stevens comments:

What I think:

- that ASFOS is shaping up to be the Harold/Bertie Atonement au of my dreams to be quite perfectly honest

- Eric is going to have some narration!!!

- Hazel is going to be pregnant! Because of this post down below ↓ and that the fact Robin says that either George or Alex are going to be emotionally present and one physically present. Imo George is going to be physically present, and be at Bletchley working on codes with Hazel (TCOTMT anybody???) and so that leaves Alex as emotionally present, if Hazel was pregnant!

- Kitty's been brought aboard by Hazel to ensure that Nuala + May are keeping up with their studies while they're not at school (and Kitty's the only one she trusts to keep May + Nuala relatively on track, having grown up with her and Daisy!!!)

- this is more of a hope than an estimated guess but that Teddy shows up!!! He should be about 6 I believe now. I'd be interested to know if he's got the spark of a budding detective like May + Hazel or if he takes more after Rose!

- Idk if I think any of the main group/main group adjacent are going to die anymore, but I'm still not convinced they're all totally safe because, like you said, all of what's happening during WW2
