after a couple months of not reading, catching up and some refreshing from tumblr. I'm not really sure how i stand on caringorm and Aechmea. There is that general unease that kinda follows Aechmea everywhere but im honestly not sure who to trust these day. It also seems like caringrom is genuinely happy about how its turning out? Picking out their own style of clothing and just seeming to enjoy themselves. IDK maybe I missed/forgot somthing big (besides like the whole lunarian gem grinding thing

i think the fandom has done a pretty good job in singling out the reasons why Aechmea's influence on Cairn is dangerous and why Cairn’s apparent happiness isn’t good so i won’t elaborate on this further. Here’s a few posts you might want to look up:

legit question why do ppl hate Aechmea again? (besides just the general unease of him being lunarian because honestly im not sure who to trust anymore) Its been a few months since i was actively keeping up with chapters but ive caught up and i cant remember if he's done anything particularly nasty (besides the whole lunarians grinding gems thing)

Personally I hate him simply because he's the kind of guy that annoys me. For others in the fandom, it must be because he is really suspicious.

First of all, as an aduld, I will not put my problems on other people. But the lunarians as the scum they are did it, they kidnapped, tortured and grounded the gems that had nothing to do with their problems, not to mention what they have done (and will do) with the admirabilis.

All to try something they already knew would not work. For centuries before red diamond born they tried to convince the sensei and it didn't work. Aechmea is their leader and strategist. All actions done by the lunarians were ordered or authorized by him. And he knew what was happening on the earth. Aechmea knew about cairngorm and its double structure, about artarc and phos, about alexi. All that cairngorm thing was more to ichikawa wanting to bother us, I'm almost sure of that. But he still avoided the Cairn's questions it was certainly important and he simply didn't want to answer. Certainly he hides something.

And honestly, is there any reason to like him?

actually for the linkel post i have an idea based around her name, i agree with everything in the post about being told their a hero when the're young. But I feel like Link has to be a very common name in hyrule/surrounding areas because of the whole legendary hero thing, ppl irl get named after others so its no big stretch to think ppl would name their kids after a legend, their kid might end up being the heros reincarnation this time too. Linkel might be the normal femminine ver. of the name
