Pick Of The Week: TORA - Mayaewk

MAYAEWK is the latest solo project of Paris based musicologist Maya Garcia. The album TORA is the first part of a two-part debut album, expected to be completed in this year. 

The project focuses on creating pop songs out of raw loops and beats. The songs include elements and ideas from other genres like noise music and hip hop, with the objective of making pop music sound dirtier and stranger.
