I've had this reel on my mind for weeks, so imagine biker!ellie, who insists that you lay your back against the front of her bike while she drives, just so that she can lean over you and keep one hand on a handle and one hand on your waist. you squeal when she speeds up, and she moves her hand from the exposed skin of your waist to right under your naval, tracing her gloved fingers below the waist of your pants

biker!ellie who, regardless of her cool nature, insists that you only pull this stunt in a parking lot. aside from the fact that if she got caught it would be one hell of a ticket, she couldn't imagine you falling off her bike and getting hurt

hello!!! fellow sev fanfic writer here on anon bc i'm terrified to start any drama, BUT,

genuinely just have to get this off of my chest, so please don't feel the pressure to respond publicly or at all: i'm SO glad i'm not the only one who finds lunescore/littlelovelunette inappropriate 😭 i'm of the opinion that kink and fetish are totally okay so long as you aren't hurting anyone... but when you're writing such graphic content for an audience of minors? and consistently writing fics that portray the reader as childlike/infantilized/clueless about their body and sex in general? fostering deeply parasocial relationships with said minors where you're teaching them how to shave and what pads are and letting them call you mommy??? what is happening?! and why are so many people letting it slide? like, SO many writers here regularly interact with her and it leaves such a bad taste in my mouth, because i certainly believe she is erring on the side of causing harm/neglecting to be responsible with her platform.

it can be so discouraging too, because the constant output of content from her makes it so hard for other fics to get as much love; fics that i believe were written with more integrity and care, to be frank.

on a more positive note- i genuinely appreciate your dedication to doing just that: writing with integrity and care. portraying the reader as an ADULT, who, even if/when they are inexperienced, is not so naive that you're essentially writing someone being taken advantage of in a non-consensual scenario. rejecting the "g!p" trend and actually writing a trans character instead. it's so refreshing to see and you have remained one of my favorite authors here because of it. so glad you've put your foot down about stuff like that and really admire you for it <3

So because, as I mentioned, I never read her fics I will say that I haven't had any experience with her infantilization of the reader, however, I have heard from a LARGE number of people that she does that.

something I take extremely seriously on this page is never, ever doing that to the reader, not simply because that's not how I would portray myself, but also because it causes damage both online and offline - it's common knowledge that I have minors reading my fics. there's nothing I can do, no warning I can put to stop that, but when you create a reader character who is blatantly unaware, it can allow for a lot of things to slide that absolutely shouldn't in the real world, thus pushing that narrative onto unknowing people (minors and inexperienced adults). I don't write intelligent inexperienced characters because it's easier, I do it because I'm aware of the damage NOT doing it can cause

furthermore, I've always been a little irked by the relationship she had with her audience. I adore everyone who gives my fics love and all the people who have gotten me to where I am, but at the end of the day, I will never post publicly anything about myself, because we do not know each other on that level. I would never have a discord server full of random people from my page, never give out my parents jobs or places of work (!), to put it simply, to me, she has just gone so far and made herself unsafe.

I would like to add that, AS SOMEONE WITH A MOMMY KINK, if people got in my asks calling me mommy regularly and outside of something sexual I would be deeply uncomfortable. there's a difference between mommy in a sexual way and mommy in an unsexual way to someone you've never actually met before and I think not stopping behaviors like that is a representation of maturity.

finally, I do admire how quickly she can pump out fics, but attempting to claim that her rapid production of fics is better written and structured than authors who take weeks, if not months, to write long, fulfilling fics will never be something I can get behind. it's easy for me to acknowledge that my drabbles are nothing compared to the fics I sit down and plan out and spend weeks committing myself to. it's purely ignorant to claim something of the sort

anyway, I appreciate the love so much!!!! I screenshoted that and sent it to my best friend because it made me so happy. I always strive to be a more inclusive author and I hope that I'm doing it well :)
