does anyone have any experience with the mayanot yeshiva in jerusalem? their 3-year program looks awesome and i’m seriously considering it but i don’t know how it actually is to be there

Now?? 👇🏼👇🏼 This year, on the 10th of Shevat (the day the Lubavitcher Rebbe assumed his role as leader of Chabad in 1951), I sat in my humble apartment in Jerusalem and penned a letter to him. That day was also #Birthright registration day and I was determined to fill more #Mayanot buses than ever before. In my letter, I expressly stated (I quote): "My initial goal was to fill 100 buses. Even 90 would be great growth for us." What did we get? 101 Mayanot buses. The Rebbe did not want me to simply make my initial goal, the Rebbe wanted me reach even further, strive for better. To effect one more Jewish soul. And today, on the 3rd of Tammuz, the day the Rebbe physically left this world, I would like to dedicate the outcome of this season’s trips to him. Rebbe, the hundreds of men putting on Teffilin this season are because of you. Like this one today, in front of the Chabad House in Sderot, Israel (one of over 1,000 across the globe). The hundreds of young women lighting Shabbos candles are because of you. The - literally - thousands of young Jewish Americans learning about their storied past, hopeful present and now, much more involved Jewish future are because of you! Lchaim. May we merit to be reunited with the Rebbe with the coming of Moshiach NOW. (at MAYANOT: Taglit-Birthright Israel)

For the second time in as many years, I am proud - but humbled - to bring this back to the @MayanotIsrael offices! Thank you to our awesome team for this achievement and to the terrific folks at @BirthrightIsrael for recognizing hard work and commitment.
