oh my god, writing things exclusively for myself is.. so freeing actually
#and by 'for myself' i mean 'nobody else is going to read this ever'#i think the last time i wrote like this i was like-- 10 years old??#maybe 13#pretty much everything i've ever written has been with the mindset 'yeah someone is going to read this eventually'#or 'if it's good enough i will share it'#and like.. fair but also#i've been writing so much over the past few days#things that don't have that undercurrent of 'well it's for me but if it's good enough maybe I'll show someone else'#is it good?? idk and idc#also all of this but about oc development lmao#creating ocs to just Exist instead of creating them for ifs or trying to fit them into a plot is like..#i thought i was bad at making ocs or at being creative but no i just needed to do this on my own for a while#(which i Knew. the most fun i've had playing ifs has been when i withdraw from the internet and sit with them on my own for some time)#i've been feeling So burnt out on my writing i can't even see the good in it but approaching it like this has been so good#do i feel a little bad that i'm the only one who cares about what i'm writing? yeah maybe#(i know i could share w pals but we go back to the whole 'my stuff is not interesting enough' thing)#but honestly this is the best i've felt about Any characters i've created or any writing i've produced in the past like six months#so i'll take it#silv.txt
