hey ! some reassurance from someone who has been on tumblr for Way Too Long. Mutual "culture" on here honestly is. super lax, we like to joke, some people like to follow old friends for nostalgia sake / making sure they're still around. but never once in my time on here has it been an issue to just. unfollow someone. tumblr users majorly tend to be a lot more "nah. shape your internet experience. if u dislike someone unfollow/block them. have fun." i know the traumatic bits of other sites and mutuals bit, but on here its never been something to cause tension when you're just. a person on the internet. i hope this helps, even a little bit <3 have fun
