Once again, game idea:

Momentum-based (I know, scary) Sonic physics sandbox game

There is little to no story (probably), no speed cap, and a huge terrain sandbox to just run

Like, the only speed cap is how inside the box you're thinking; you'd have like the Unleashed speed bar and you can go from like 1 mph to ›10000 mph if you use the terrain and your moveset to your advantage

Maybe there'd be upgrades of some kind, like a thing you put on Sonic's shoes to make him go faster or gain speed quicker

You'd have access to a lot of Sonic's movesets from previous games too, like the Super-peel-out, the spin dash, boost, etc and be able to get more abilities that increase your speed

All this idea is intended to be is a speed sim of sorts, but you could probably have an awesome combat system in place here too, or a fun racing system against friends

This is really specific and not everyone's cup of tea, but like come on, you can't tell me you don't wanna fly across a sprawling map at like 30000 mph. Just absolutely zooming at breakneck speeds over hills and stuff
