I wonder does Prince have a name in puppet au? or everyone calls him prince because, well, he plays him?

It’s Lukas! Referring to him as ‘Prince’ kind of became a running joke on set after he got the role. XD Especially since his last name kinda sounds like prince, so…

(Decided to make Pryce his last name after reading The Abandoned by @ichor-mountain, sorry for snagging it but i just liked it too much .w.)

As for other character names, my friends and I are working on an info post for the AU so hopefully we can get more headcanons and stuff out soon! And maybe answer some of those questions. XD ;

OH MAN i have SO many

-Shovel Knight is a Dullahan! Or something like it. Either way, he is Just Armor

-Shovel Knight can also cook really well for something without a tongue. Or mouth. Or literally any flesh

-Shield and Polar Knight are related!

-Also Shield Knight feels unbelievable guilty for what she was forced to do as the Enchantress (Luckily Shovel Knight is always there to remind her its not her fault)

-Black Knight is a harpy(like wings on their backs not wing-arm harpy) (and trans!!). His wings never grew in properly so he cant fly and its a Really Big sore spot for him :( After the Echantress did the thing where he got extra powers and stuff he was. Pretty darn Upset. Though he kinda misses being able to fly, even if it was for a moment

-Also Black knight would sit on a table even if there was open seating. If forced into a chair he wont even sit on it properly (Neither can Propeller Knight, for that matter...)

-King Knight is like. 1/6 dragon. His great grandpa had some.... interesting tastes (note: havent played thru king of cards yet so this'll probably? Change???)

-all the folks from the tower of fate (and the valley's undead community in general) really respect Specter Knight. He is Beloved, annd it flusters him everytime its mentioned (ALSO THIS IS LIKE. BASICALLY CANON WOO)

-Propellor and Tinker Knight are friends! They talk about schematics, machines, and the latest gossip!

-Plague Knight is a dnd-style tengu and also a shut in

Yeah, it’s basically once they touched the ground, they couldn’t fly again. That might be different with Shanti’s ability, though!

HMMHat Kid - neutral for me just because I tend to not really care about kid characters all that much (cuz they’re written badly usually) BUT Hat Kid is cute and a gremlin so I have a soft spot.Bow Kid - comfort because of my bff Arynn always playing as her and being very attached to her, so when I look at Bow I think of my friend LOLMustache Girl - eh, don’t care much about her.  Again, don’t care much about kids and I kind of feel like they didn’t do much with her until near the end and the beginning, but I do like her as a character if that makes sense?  It makes sense that she would be super mad at Hat Kid for not wanting to use the Time Pieces, because MU has been in Mafia Town and all that.  I really like characters who do bad things for the right reasons if that makes sense.  Wanting to be a hero but ends up being the bad guy.

I have a bit uncommon question. I'm currently rather short on cash and soon will be even shorter (gonna move out and start paying rent by myself, and that'll take half of my paycheck), but I really need to upgrade my laptop - for many different purposes, including drawing faster and (I hope) better. what would you recommend for an artist without big constant fan base (read: zero) and without much confidence in their skills?

If you want to buy a laptop on a budget, and you’re not all that confident in your craft ( or if you’ll make more out of it in the future ). Then I suggest you go with any machine that can run the software you’re using. And otherwise pick a laptop that you can use to suit your other needs ( gaming, streaming, browsing, or whatever ). Generally, I don’t encourage anyone to stretch their funds too thin on an “art”- computer unless they plan on doing it full-time or just spend their every waking moment outside of work drawing. It just wouldn’t make sense to throw that much money after a laptop if in the end, you’re not gonna need all the horsepower. I think something in the range of HP Envy/ Pavillion series, or maybe even a low -end MSI laptop should be your maximum spending. Moreso because on top of being able to handle your software - it’ll allow you to game some and pull a lot of other tasks with it. I’ve generally not had good experiences with Acer and Asus in regards to working with demanding software on their systems, but I can’t guarantee that there shouldn’t be decent models out there. But no higher unless you work with the Adobe Package. Generally no higher than 500-700$. 

Alternatively, you can probably build your own desktop and get much more efficiency for much lower prices.
