Something I completely forgot was that Ameno-Sagiri had used its power to mess with Teddie's Shadow. Shadow Teddie's eyes look very close to the camera like lens of Ameno-Sagiri along with the fact that Teddie himself never fully denied the shadow. It simply continued to talk to the rest of the group before attempting to kill them. I wonder if that can mean that Ameno-Sagiri, and by extension Izanami, would be able to influence Tenna's emerging Shadow as well as finding out about the existence of the Dark Worlds.

yeah ameno sagiri being inside shadow teddie is a rather important thing, though the game itself doesnt really make it obvious. in anime it is straight up shown that it is in there tho. overall shadow teddie is an unusual one because like you said, teddie doesnt deny it, just its words. additionally, teddies awakening is off too, he doesnt accept the shadow. even the flavor text makes it clear, instead saying that it was support that he was shown, not his own strength to face himself.

teddie is so interesting for that, just like his shadow. because we can easily consider the chance that it was a medium for ameno sagiri to face the investigation team for the first time. its likely the shadow wouldve been a bit different if it wasnt for ameno

as for the final speculations.... hehe. lets say that tennas screen crack with a blue bandage on is in fact relevant to the plot of the au. and yeah, just his presence would already alarm the sagiris and izanami, though izanami has been aware of him ever since the connection was made. just you wait till she and sagiris find out the fog can seep through to the other Other side as well

So here’s some questions. How do you think Kris, Susie, and Ralsei would react to Teddie’s Shadow Self? Also, do you think if those three had to face their Shadows, which of them would struggle the most to accept it or would end up outright denying themselves like Mitsuo? I feel like Kris definitely would have major trouble with their Shadow.

i think once they understand what shadow selves actually are and see for themselves what they do, i think itd be difficult for them to fully accept something like that came out of teddie. itd be both baffling and mortifying, considering how they didnt get to know teddie that well just yet (as if the investigation team was any less surprised to see the shadow self). susie and ralsei especially, but susie the most. she is at the point of the story where she is very much more sympathetic to other people. kris is a big unknown to me, though i think even theyd be shaken by something like that. i also think the whole concept of emptiness and being hollow that teddie and his shadow have going on would hit uncomfortably home for them

honestly i havent really considered them having shadow selves since me and my cowriter havent really explored the idea of them going to the tv world? at least, not for long enough for them to encounter their shadow selves. would ralsei even have a shadow? ...maybe actually. if he and tenna are in the same boat identity-wise in the au. actually, i think thatd be possible

i agree with you on kris having the most trouble with their shadow. im no kris scholar tbf, but theyd struggle with it a lot, and might have something similar to anime yus situation happen to them with their shadow. ralsei would also, i think. though chapter 5 kind of changed it up for me, i think hed also be rather unwilling to face his shadow, let alone accept it. all of it is soo detached from the prophecy he has no idea what to do and how to deal with it. susie would have almost the same situation as the investigation team, shed encounter the shadow, talk back, maybe try to go at it. then itd have to be defeated, she accepts it, boom. wouldnt be any less devastating, but i think in her case it would be a pretty standard shadow encounter. sucky situation but shed be lucky in that case??? the lesser of possible evils
