i get a feeling from these cards that the image you present is not your true self and you are aware of this. there is an imbalance inside yourself that seems to be possibly linked to the freedom of your identity, or how you view yourself, or how you view yourself through the eyes of the world. the heirophant is a card of questioning and rebellion. it asks you to have faith in yourself and find internal approval by virtue of your own knowledge and power. while temperance is calling for balance to be brought forth. reversed it may mean there is something negative effecting your life, causing your life to balance of kilter. both are very internal, private cards that i feel tie into one another here - that your 2019 will springboard into 2020. perhaps you have been struggling with identity, self-esteem or authority in 2019 and it’s effects will ripple into 2020. temperance asks you to find balance, be wary of excess and heal. there may be a voice inside you that you have not been paying attention to, temperance is asking you to listen, be kind, and adjust. or perhaps even 2019 changed your view of the world, but in the process knocked yourself off course, if so make sure to focus on keeping everything in proportion for the year to come.
