The poignant Mayflower 400 installation has finally been revealed
Plymouth (the city in the UK from which the Mayflower sailed to the Americas) had 99999 things planned for the 400th anniversary: art, music, plays, visits from dignitaries etc etc. Most of them, of course, have been cancelled*. It seems incredibly poignant that this was the thing that still went ahead.
*I’m... on the whole, kind of glad? Not sure this event needed celebrating.
