29: Stretchmarks (Bahahaha!)

Even though the surprise wrestle match had earned Texas a whole new set of scratches and bite marks it had been fun. But Mike had been rather… hissy and angry. Apparently surprise wrestling matches was not something he appreciated anymore. Something about almost being eaten by his own Texas or whatever. 

So Texas had settled on hugging Mike without letting go. That too had earned him some struggling and cursing, but Mike had settled down after a while. And removed his jacket since he had gotten sweaty from the wrestling. That was when Texas noticed the markings on Mike’s skin. Old and faded now. Only giving a slight green tinge to the brunets skin. Not knowing what to do and what to think Texas nuzzled up against Mike and gave the old scars a small kiss.

Then he continued on. 

Mike didn't seem inclined to stop him. In fact, when Texas was kissing down his chest, the brunet had begun to purr.

As much as Duke wanted to whack Mike in the head for treating Mutt the way he had done, something about the brunet made the ruler of Detroit think of something else. It was clear that the burner had somehow fallen on bad times. Shaggy hair, dirty skin and those jacked up eyes. So instead of being angry, Duke rushed to Mike's side and pulled him into one enormous hug. "There there..." He said soothingly as he stroke Mike's hair.

16. In highschool my muse and your muse were in love, but it went wrong when my cheated, Now it’s our ten year reunion and we’re both still single.

My oh my, how time flies. Had it really been ten years already? Ten years since all of the pubescent drama that was high school (or, in their case, being part of Kane’s forces).

Mike found himself at a party up in Deluxe. Kane was long gone, and Motorcitizens and Deluxians were finally at peace with one another.

All except for himself and one certain man known as Mayhem. There were a lot of memories the Burner had with him - they had lived in the same housing quarters and became fast friends. Which…then turned into something more, which shocked the hell out of the both of them. But overall, that time was wonderful.

That is, until Jenzen came around. That was when things got dicey between the two. And it only got worse when Mike had found Mayhem in Jenzen’s bed after a party, sloppily drunk and half-naked. Needless to say, after that, it was over between the two.

But the past was the past, and nothing could change that. To his surprise, though, he saw the other brunette at the party. He didn’t change very much in looks, but he couldn’t help but roll his eyes a little at the fact that there wasn’t a blonde hooked under his arm. Seemed like even Jenzen couldn’t handle the appropriately-named Mayhem, either.

At the hand on his shoulder Mike turns quickly, letting the car go and lashing out at Mike.

“Back off”

Well shit, he didn’t think this Mike was around. mayhem’s own car was fucking up and he needed spare parts for mutt, what better place to find parts then from an exact replica? It was kinda hard to drive the car with no keys though, mayhem being forced to try and tear off the parts he needed instead and carry them back.

He’d been so focused on trying to tear apart the vehicle that Mike had been able to sneak up on him. Kinda embarrassing.

“move along mikey, I’m just taking what I need” Mayhem drawled, waving his hand dismissively at Mike, somehow thinking that maybe the guy would simply turn around and leave. Tch. No way.

To be honest, Mike had a feeling it would be this Mike, of all Mikes. No other Mike would even think of trying to rip off parts for a car. Nor had the strength to do it, either.

He backed away a little when lashed at, tilting his head. "Taking what you need? Whoa, whoa, whoa, off my car?"

He hesitated for a minute - the last thing he wanted to do was pull this guy off of Mutt and possibly get bitten himself. And with this Mike, that was something he would rather not deal with.

"Look, there's a bunch of parts in the supply closet in the garage. Wanna check there instead? You might find what you're lookin' for there."
