The golden retriever, who had served as mayor of Idyllwild, California since 2013, passed away last week at age 9.

✨ Max is the mayor of Bywater. they love staying inside to play video games, but also taking care of the town and their friends. 

🍀 Eris is a paleontologist who lives in a tent on the edge of the town’s forest. she likes keeping to herself and exploring the town while it’s raining. she’s the older twin sister of Ceres.

🐝 Ceres is a botanist who moved to Bywater to become a beekeeper. he loves being outside, taking care of flowers, and trying to catch bees. he’s Eris’s younger twin brother.
