If you stayed inside because of the rain on Thursday night, you missed out on the grand opening of The Fillmore, Philly’s latest and greatest music venue. The evening featured a sold-out concert from the legendary Hall & Oates, an appearance from Mayor Michael Nutter, as well as Bonnie Maclean, famous 60s poster artist, who was on-site autographing the posters she designed for opening night.
For those that weren’t able to attend, don’t worry! Rock On Philly’s very own Steph DeFeo has got you covered with photos. Click through and get excited.
Stepping inside the venue, you will notice this iconic sign. Philly really is becoming one of the best places in the country for live music.
The legendary Bonnie Maclean was there to autograph the posters she designed for opening night.
Mayor Nutter also made an appearance to celebrate the Fillmore’s Grand opening.
