Joshua is a half-Prince! His “Prince of Smoke” form is his “true form”, so to speak. Being a Prince, though, he tends to shapeshift with frequency.  Mayr is the Mayor of Teresel City, where the Resistance operates. He’s a good guy, he’s also Horace’s father! Horace and Tobias are two teens who live in Teresel City. They hang around the Resistance crew, but aren’t directly involved.

Mayr is very patient, and very quiet. She makes me seem loud and obnoxious. I think I’ve heard her say eight words this year. She likes to visit Ethari and she’s learning to make her own jewelry. She really likes chains, and he enchants the links for her so they don’t rattle. Like in most situations, he does all the talking, and she just nods along and does her best.

She also likes to bake fruit tarts. Little tiny ones. Tartlets, really. Perfectly decorated and individually prepared for specific people. If Mayr makes you a tartlet, that is the tartlet you eat. Not the tartlet for Branneg or Ethari. You eat your own tartlet and be grateful.
