Yoo if you like Akumatized!Marinette fics, go read All is calm by @mazberrypie, i fully recommend it , it has a great concept, Chat/Adrien troubles to help her and even Chloé fears (chapter 5 makes an amazing job with that and they pointed something i’ve never consederated).
yellow for the color ask meme!
Yellow: 7 facts about my childhood
1. When I was younger I got really really pissy every time my next-down sister was better than me at everything. She learned how to work computers before I did and I refused to listen to her trying to explain it to me because I was the oldest and I was supposed to know more than she did about everything.
2. In a similar “wow Kat you’re a terrible older sister” vein, when we found out my mom was pregnant with the fourth and fifth kids, people kept asking me if I was excited, and I was like “...no.” They’d tease me and be like “she’s trying to be cool about it but I bet she actually is it’s just ‘cause she’s eleven/thirteen.” But I was like “my mom has been pregnant seven times. It gets old. Please let me read.”
3. I would legitimately read everything I got my hands on as a kid. If I didn’t have access to a book, I would read cereal boxes or... the NEWS. If I didn’t have access to a book I wanted to read, I’d read nonfiction. I read the weird Mennonite propaganda books my mom was using to teach my sister to read (and she wonders why it took her so long to get interested).
4. I went to private school first, second, and third grade. I sat in the back of the room with the Good Readers, which is how we found out that I needed glasses. I couldn’t see the board.
5. The summer I was in fourth grade, i left my glasses on the table by the pool, and my dad moved the table so he could mow the lawn, and my glasses fell off and got mowed over. And my parents just... didn’t get me new ones. For months. Until we found the frames and realized that I hadn’t just lost them like the space case I am, and they were actually GONE.
6. As a kid, I would climb literally everything. I climbed this:
(the back one, not the front one) a lot. See the little hole in it? I climbed a tree to get to this little ledge to climb that. There are deer bones in there.
7. I was homeschooled fourth through eighth grade because my parents couldn’t afford private school anymore and I’d been bullied there anyway, so I was afraid to go to public school because People. This means I had zero social interaction most of the time but got to read As Much As I Wanted because doing my own schoolwork without people who were slower than I was took like two hours.
