PART 2 OF @haru-torri ‘s SECRET SANTA GIFT!

I have a few random headcanons and unfinished design sketches I didn’t want to put on and clutter the main gift post! This kinda ties into another magic HQ AU I have so I hope it doesnt get super confusing.

I’m still working out the designs for Suga and Oikawa and these probably won’t be their final ones.

Suga is a light mage that uses his magic to encourage plants to grow.

Gardening was his hobby when he was younger and found a way to make that his career by producing magical herbs and plants and just generally maintaining others gardens.

He learned to control a lot of his powers when he started accidentally killing plants who got too much exposure.

Oikawa is an illusion mage that isnt really planning to pursue anything relating to the field or magic but uses it as more of a hobby much to many peoples surprise. But that doesnt mean he isn’t intensely passionate and talented.

Illusion mages are typically performers as they can manipulate what the eye sees which Makki and Mattsun try to influence Oikawa to use for their devious pranks as non-magic users but Oikawa will typically trick them instead.

Oikawa typically does some street performances as opposed to like large scale professional performances (which entails a combination of music, magic, acting, and artistery.) He kind of does a “waking hypnotism without hypnotism” where an audience would watch a willing participant into reacting to things that arent there.

Oikawa and Suga met when Oikawa was running a small show in a gazebo in the garden he was working in at the time and Suga got distracted by the performance. Suga ended up accidentally trimmed off the garden owners “prized roses”. Oikawa ended up helping Suga by tricking the owner into thinking the roses were still there.

The owner would visit every few days and Oikawa needed to be there any time the owner would to work his magic so Suga and him became acquainted with the often visits.

After Suga managed to regrow the roses, he gave Oikawa a flower crown from his own garden as a thank you.

I would love to talk to you more about magic AUs! This OiSuga story is kind of shoved into another story I have so I have a lot to talk about!

Hello Mayumi! I’m Heidryn. I love all your prompts because I am a sucker for magic AUs and cute outfits so I ended up trying to combine the two (ahah I’m not sure if the outfits are actually cute though.) Anyway, here Suga is a light mage who uses his powers to grow plants and gardens and Oikawa is a illusion mage that likes popping out of nowhere and checking up on his boyfriend from time to time. I have a few other HCs I hope you don’t mind me tagging you in as well!

I originally wanted to post this in its full file size because I wanted to make it big enough that you could print it out if you wanted to but it ended up being way to large for tumblr to handle. But please shoot me a message if you want me to send you the larger file :D
