Come with me, Stay with me (Lucifer Morningstar x sister!reader)
Anonymous asked:
Can you do a Lucifer TV series one-shot where the female reader is Lucifer's sister and the Angel of Death and her father sent her Los Angeles to try to convince Lucifer to come back to Hell but Lucifer ends up convincing her to stay in Los Angeles? Bonus points for including Amenadiel, Maze, Doctor Linda Martin, Chloe, Dan, and Trixie.
(A/N): Alright so this is awful. But i had a big test and didn’t have the time to write. Guess I didn’t get the bonus points because the characters you asked for were only mentioned. But still, I hope you liked it.)
As always, GIFS not mine.
You walked down the stairs to the bar you knew your brother owned. Your wings were hidden, but other than that, your outfit was not very Los Angeles appropriate. You wore the robes you always did in heaven, very similar to one of your brothers, Amenadiel’s.
People had been looking at you differently ever since you appeared inside the bar, but, as the moments passed, you kept drawing more and more attention to yourself.
Eventually the bar fell almost silent, if it wasn’t for the people dancing still talking to each other and the loud music. But all around Lucifer who was ordering a drink, people were whispering and laughing at you. Maze was the first one to notice you, and when she saw you she couldn’t help but smirking.
“Seems like you have company, have fun.” She laughed before walking away, drink in hand. When he turned around, he didn’t expect you to be there. Anyone but you. He didn’t remember a time to which you came to earth before, but he was happy to see you. He hadn’t in many, many years. When you were children, you had been very close.
“My brother” You weren’t lost, and had found him quite some time ago.
“(Y/N), my dear sister, what are you doing here?” Even though he was happy to see you he couldn’t help but say it mockingly as he was almost sure he knew why you were here.
“Lucifer” You ignored his question and went in for a hug. He didn’t expect that, but, nonetheless set his drink and hugged back. When you finally pulled back, he noticed all the weird looks you two were getting. “(Y/N), dear, why don’t we go upstairs. Those clothes aren’t exactly fashionable here.”
“I’ve seen you wear worse.” You answered, but he was already pulling you upstairs.
It took awkwardly long to get to his home, but when the doors of the elevator opened, he darted away towards the bar, and you were amused. It was almost as if he’d been without a drink for a year, but you had just seen him with one downstairs.
“Anything to drink before you tell me all of your delightful ulterior motives?” He asked, already pushing a drink towards you before you could even answer. You took it. You hadn’t tried Earth’s liquor yet so why not it be the first time.
“You’re not trying to poison me, are you brother?” You had that little smirk you were known to have.
He sat by the piano. “Would it work?”
“I doubt it” You sat beside him and took a sip. It wasn’t bad, but it surely wasn’t as good as you had in Heaven.
“Why are you here?” He finally broke the silence.
“Don’t you want to guess?”
“I think I already know.”
“I’m here to take you back, father isn’t pleased and wants you back in hell.” You avoided his gaze, because you knew it was too convincing.
“You know I’m not going back.”
“Are you sure?”
“Completly.”
“I had a guess you wouldn’t. You always were the stubborn one.” You said with a smile, remembering the cherished moments from your childhood.
“If I recall, you were more.” He chuckled next to you.
“If that was true, I’d be dragging you through the gates of hell right now.”
“Probably true.”
“I knew if Amenadiel couldn’t send you back, I wouldn’t be able to either. Be happy here, Luci” You got up to leave. There was no point in forcing him,if he said he wouldn’t go, he wouldn’t. When he saw what you intended to do, his eyes widened.
“No, please. (Y/N)! Stay with me. Here, on earth. It’s great!” He begged, hands up.
“I saw what the humans did with my dagger, what they made you do with it.” You remembered the lost of your younger brother and had to take a deep breath. “It’s not as great as you think, Luci.”
“It’s not just that (Y/N). There are some people that aren’t as bad. I don’t want to have to spend the next century without seeing you again. Amenadiel is here too. Let me at least show you. One day.”
You thought about your other brother. It's not like you hadn't seen him in a long time, but you weren't sure when you'd see him again, in light of the most recent events so, for one day, you gave in.
"Fine Luci, but tomorrow I'll leave." He smiled once again, and you sat down next to him. For the rest of the night, you two played the piano, drank his fancy scotch and laughed about your younger selfs.
Eventually it was the morning, and just as he had promised, Lucifer took you all around town, first to Linda's office with who you got to have a nice chat with, now that she believed him.
Then, to the police station, where you met his beloved Chloe, and her ex, Detective Douche, or so Luci called him. After working a long day in a case with him, you were taken to Chloe's house. This is where you finally met her daughter, but also got to see Maze again. You had met her once or twice when sneaking into Hell to see your brother. It was nice to see a familiar face.
Eventually, when the day was almost over, Lucifer drove you somewhere. He didn't tell you where you were going the whole way there, but you were sure you recognized the place.
Leading you through the forest, Lucifer kept quiet, which was unsual. "Lucifer, where are we going? The day is almost over and we still haven-" You weren't interrupted by the sight of your older brother, Amenadiel.
"Amenadiel" You jogged over and engulfed him in a hug. "(Y/N)." He smiled and hugged back, but only when you looked over your shoulder did you recognize where you were.
It was Uriel's grave. Your often excluded brother. Yeah he might have stolen your blade, but he was still your brother and you couldn't help the tear that grazed down your cheek when you saw his grave. He was gone, forever.
"Whether or not you decide to stay, I thought you'd want to at least see his grave before going back" Lucifer said and Amenadiel looked over at you, probably expecting to know what you had to say.
After some time, curiosity eating away at Lucifer, he had to ask, making you turn from the grave you had been staring at quietly.
"Would you stay here on earth? With us? Or will you come back to Heaven."
Your face darkened. "No. I can't go back. You two are right, father could have stopped this. He could have kept Uriel alive, but he didn't. I can't go back."
When they heard that, they both smiled, and once more the you were hugged, this time by your two brothers, and together suffering the loss of your fallen sibling.
