I get super sappy and lovey dovey with it

{ even though I haven’t fully shifted to my maze runner Dr, I always get short memories of us together that always make me smile. from childhood to adulthood, Gal has been the absolute best friend, husband and father ever and I miss him more than ever right now }

guys ive been getting back into the maze runner recently (ive had a hyperfixation since i was 13 tmr is BIG in sophie headquarters) and i fear i need a dr like i need to be there NOW

The Maze Runner Shifting Scenario #1

You wake up in the box, disoriented because of the lack of light.

Your first thought is you finally shifted. But your second through is the chilling temperature of the box.

Red lights flash around you as the box moves upward. You can hear the metallic gears as well as smell an animal in what you can only assume is a cage next to you.

You stand up with shaky legs and look at the caged top of the metal box.

Fear sets in as you see the top approaching, and the box not slowing down.

You forget all about the plot and events of this reality as fear takes over fully.

You scream hoarsely and close your eyes, waiting for the worst.

But it never comes.

Instead the box shudders to a stop and you can see white light peaking through holes in a solid metal panel.

Light fills the box suddenly and you fall back onto the metal grating.

You see figures staring at you from above.

One figure jumps down into the box. His hair shines bright and reflects the sunlight against the dark metal interior.

“Welcome to the glade greenie,” the guy says, extending a hand.

Your heart beats super fast, this is your significant other.

You hold back a huge smile and take their hand, climbing out into the Glade.

Your new life is about to begin.

Maze Runner Shifting Scenario

You chose to do a bit of everything around the Glade. On warmer days you helped out Newt with the garden and on cooler days you helped out Fry in the kitchen.

You loved that you weren’t held down to one job because sometimes the guys could be overwhelming.

Alby suggested you try being a runner with Minho to clear your mind on days you were overwhelmed.

You liked the glade, but having 60 teenage boys be around you at all times made you go insane, especially their smell on hot sweaty days.

The one thing that calmed you down after a long day was your s/o.

They would sit you down by the fire and you two would eat and talk about your day.

Chuck would tease you both about it but you didn’t complain then.

It was like when they were with you the world calmed down, the noises softened and the smells were more tolerable.

The night would end with both of you falling asleep as the embers glowed in the dark, curled up together feeling safe and protected.

I’m embodying my maze runner Dr self by making apocalypse esque tools and stuff because while I learn skills here I can use them there

I just learned how to wrap paracord and make some wooden carvings

Just because your consciousness is here doesn’t mean we can’t help our selves prepare for the awareness of there

Now go shift!!!
