Any fun facts you can share with us about the ROs???
Too many tbh! But I’m trying to pick some of the more non-spoilery ones that have become margin notes during my planning sessions 🙂↕️
S:
S has a specific “lucky coin” that they like to toss to “make decisions”, but they’re so good at sleight of hand that they’ll honestly manipulate the results from the start.
They have a soft spot for kids, especially underprivileged ones. They often “lose” trinkets and coins near the palace kitchens for the children of the servants to “find” them later.
Can mimic almost any accent perfectly after hearing the other person speak just once.
D
They are absolutely not a morning person. Can sleep through virtually anything when exhausted, too.
They are the master of the blade… and the needle, after having so much practice in mending their own torn uniforms after reckless training sessions.
Stray cats and dogs seem to be fond of them and like to follow them around. It’s not uncommon for D to be teaching a serious lesson about military formations or directing combat practice with a kitten perched on their shoulder or in their arms.
N
Is the youngest of three siblings, they have two older sisters.
They are incredibly good at swimming, and those who are familiar with them know that if N cannot be found at the palace, they are usually in the river that passes by just outside the palace walls.
If they were not doing the job they are doing right now, they would most likely be working as a gardener of some kind.
J
While they claim to be very bothered by disorganisation, their desk is the very definition of chaos. If questioned, they will say that there is “a perfectly clear method of organisation here” (there is no method).
Absolute top-tier, terrifyingly high spice tolerance. They can eat peppers that would make the most tough of them cry capsaicin tears while maintaining a perfectly calm & neutral expression.
While their official reports are often written in impeccable handwriting, their journals and notes are barely decipherable scrawls — a sign of how fast their mind moves.
