How does a celebration look like in general in Haptum's/Ja'Silaris' warband? Also, how does Maz suprise Arashnul for her B-Day usually?
Ja’Silaris is definitely the more “loosened” one from the two. Upon victory the main thing he likes to organize and participate in with his subordinates is setting up large fire pits where they burn the bodies of their fallen enemies. They have a bit of a competition actually. Everyone throws in his/her own kills and which ever body sparks the biggest burst of flame wins. Prizes for this contest vary from rations, Terrazine or a roll in the hay. The later Ja doesn’t really partake in. He finds it way to bothersome, he prefers getting into fistfight with those around him, which 90% end of the time end with him pummeling his competition in the dirt. Asserting his dominance this way makes his day.
Haptum on the other hand is pretty much the opposite. After a battle she does the official proclamation of victory, probably cuts off the head of the enemy’s leader…or in case it is too bashed in - some other fitting battle trophy which she pledges as an offering and display of her leadership skills to the Highlord. But after taking said trophy she just retreats to her quarters/tent and leaves her subordinates do whatever they want. But if they get WAY too off the hook she goes back to set them back in their rails with quite the severe beatings.
Hmm, well, the most usual way, after the kids are asleep or left to someone to look after them, he dresses up in the … articles of clothing Arash took from Aida that she likes seeing him most in, and let’s her do whatever she pleases with him, following every “order/command/guideline” she gives him to the letter as much as possible. ^^
