PASMEB claims misconduct in PJ Sentral
Pakatan Anak Selangor Menyokong Menteri Besar (PASMEB) today lodged a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on alleged leakage in the administration of the Selangor State Development Corp (PKNS).
PASMEB president Mazli Saring said they wanted MACC to conduct detailed investigation into the PJ Sentral Development (PJ Sentral) issue.
In the report, Mazli submitted several documents as evidence to enable MACC to study them in detail before pursuing the next course of action.
According to Mazli, PKNS’ Internal Audit Department was also conducting detailed investigation, including obtaining information and documents from the board members of PKNS Holdings representing PKNS in PJ Sentral, namely Mohamed Azmin Ali. who is also Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) deputy president. and Datin Paduka Norazlina Zakaria.
PKNS Holdings was reported to have cooperated with Nusa Gapurna and formed a company to develop PJ Sentral with a 30-70% stake.
“Through the joint venture, PKNS Holdings is represented by Mohamed Azmin Ali and Datin Paduka Norazlina Zakaria, where both have been board members in 2011 and 2012.
“In February 2013, Nusa Gapurna made a deal with MRCB to sell its 70% stake in PJ Sentral to MRCB through a reverse takeover proposal.
“The documents we obtained portray the failure of PKNS representatives in PJ Sentral to defend PKNS’ interest,” he said when met at the MACC Selangor office today.
Following that, Mazli claimed that PKNS had lost its interest in the project that involves the commercial development in an area of 9,854 acres, which also includes PKNS headquarters.
Mazli said he wanted a detailed investigation to be conducted because the property of the people of Selangor were going to corporate companies.
